Overview
Position Summary:
Associate Director of Client Engagement (ACDE) is accountable for every aspect of client programs through their life-cycle. The ADCE is primarily responsible for managing client relationships in conjunction with the Client Engagement Director (CED), which includes, remotely managing/coordinating with internal program teams, collaborating/driving program execution (timeline management), and growing the client relationship through effective communication and expanding services/business as applicable. The ADCE will have a focus on excellence in program execution with detailed knowledge of the internal process, as well as the promotional approval process within pharma.. In addition, the ADCE should demonstrate thought leadership on program development and content, providing trusted insight to clients.
Implementation Support:
• Working with a DCE, maintains shared responsibility for the quality and integrity of all agency products delivered to assigned clients; resulting in the cultivation of client loyalty and retention
• Serve as a client’s day-to-day liaison, working closely with the client and the client’s internal teams to launch programs into market
• Engages clients on a regular basis to manage expectations regarding timing and deployment, and communicate high-level success measurements
• Provide on-going support to client’s and their initiatives including:
• Representing the agency on copy-review meetings
• Working with the internal team, provide program overview information as needed; slide presentations, briefing documents, deployment reports, metrics, etc.
• Effectively driving project timelines and deliverables across a multidisciplinary team
• Ensuring program managers are communicating all project plans, project plans are up-to-date, and teammates are aware of next steps (daily/weekly planning across projects)
Account/Client Support:
• Supports the DCE in ownership and maintenance of client accounts
• Understand clients' business needs and effectively manage programs to ensure business objectives are being met (timing, targeting, etc.)
• Build trust, credibility, drive client referrals, and retention
• Manage client programs through the project lifecycle (from sale to deployment)
• Ensures clear, ongoing communication regarding the client, strategic insights pertaining to the client's business, initiatives, and issues, or similar to multidisciplinary team members
• Develop and execute effective and efficient multi-channel programs
Account Development:
• Works with DCE to identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts/brands managed, and presents/positions new ideas to clients on an ongoing basis
• Seek opportunities to up sell and cross-sell within the account to generate additional revenue where appropriate
• Supports the Business Development team with account identification and development, including participation on sales calls and program recommendations during the sales process
Skills and Qualifications Needed:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in marketing or advertising
• Bachelors Degree
• Healthcare/Pharma experience a plus
• Excellent/professional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and manage a large quantity of projects on an ongoing basis
• Collaborative, yet able to work independently when needed
• Ability to present clear concise thoughts in front of clients
• Interpersonal skills
• Microsoft office proficient
