Initiative - Associate Director, Technology
Position Summary
We are currently looking for someone to join the Analytics team and be responsible for the identification and adoption of ad-tech tools as well as data governance across all digital activity. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in Ad Operations, works well in a fast paced dynamic environment and understands the sense of urgency and attention to detail inherent in delivering successful media campaigns.
This is a pivotal role within our rapidly growing global team of experienced specialists and must ensure:
• Oversee development of tools that automate and streamline processes such as: automated reporting dashboards, diagnostic tools, campaign trackers, creative specification templates, standardized media plan templates, etc.
• Governance of naming conventions and usage of ad-tech tools
• Maintain strong relationships with Ad serving partners leveraging the best products and services
• Develop communications that educate internal and external stakeholders on hot digital topics such as: ad view ability and verification, digital attribution, etc.
• Review new technologies, organize product trials, coordinate technology design partnerships and case studies
• Influential in digital strategy from a technology perspective ensuring the right technologies and platforms are utilized to improve efficiency and accuracy of digital campaigns
• Finding solutions for non-compliance and updating processes to drive further adoption
• Work closely with the global teams to understand the global approach and then localize. As well as feedback local nuances and priorities
Essential Functions
• Understand regional and local client requirements and KPI’s for optimum campaign implementation and ad-tech recommendation
• Drive change management with the local teams to break down the barriers of entry
• Expectation and relationship management with all stakeholders
• Stay up to date with technology updates and become beta trial partners with providers
• Manage workflow between all stakeholders
• Coordinate and ensure standardized set up for search, social and display media channels
• Ensure standard of knowledge across all tools and platforms used is consistent across the markets
• Set up and run training sessions for the Ad Ops team as well as the wider Mediabrands agency teams on best practices and processes
• Maintain a positive working attitude
• Identify opportunities to create efficiencies between all teams
• Evolve internal processes to enable dynamic and agile delivery of campaigns to cater to the real-time nature of digital campaigns and make MB Ad Ops the most responsive team across the network
• Identify opportunities to implement new tools to create cutting edge solutions
• Implement new processes and products as discussed with the Global Operations Director
• Training and education across the markets

Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience with digital operations processes
Skills:
• Understand and have experience in the nuances of working with international markets
• Have a proven track record of overcoming the inherent challenges in the above to strategically implement adtech successfully
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data
• Ability to investigate, analyze and solve problems as well as clearly communicate results
• Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly
• Strong attention to detail, well organized and has the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• Strong Excel proficiency is required
• Knowledge of adserving & verification tools
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment
• Be a highly motivated team player
