RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Associate Creative Director is to inspire and deliver great creative work. As a creative leader in the department you’ll be expected to push the boundaries of creativity and the abilities of those around you to find new and unexpected ways to drive customer engagement and generate buzz for our clients.
• Serve as the client-facing creative lead for key accounts, providing high-level creative strategy, brand stewardship and executional oversight for all creative programs and deliverables across social, digital and PR
• Lead (and sometimes execute) projects from concept to completion for a wide range of marketing outputs including, but not limited to, short-form video and interactive web experiences to a variety of social content and experiential activations
• Adapt leadership style to inspire and mentor teams of various levels to reach their full potential and produce the best work possible
• Successfully communicate (present and sell-in) creative ideas and their rationale to account teams, clients and prospective clients when pitching new business
• Collaborate with agency team members from creative, account, production, technology, PR, strategy, planning and analytics to produce smart, powerful work
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 7-10 years experience in marketing, advertising or social media with at least 1 year at the ACD level
• Ability to think strategically, conceptualize creatively and see the concept through to flawless execution whether you’re leading a team or executing yourself
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead creative individuals to deliver great work
• Proven track record successfully selling creative to clients and prospects
• Strong communication design sensibilities and an understanding of how composition, information hierarchy, color theory and typography work together to drive home a message
• Killer design chops with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Social fluency and a solid understanding of how to drive conversation and engagement across existing and emerging social platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with clients and individuals from other departments
• Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Energy, enthusiasm, flexibility, hustle, hunger and an amazingly curious attitude that is consistently seeking out creative opportunities above and beyond the “day-to-day” asks.
