Job Description:
You are a senior marketing communications strategist with a clear POV and boundless ideas to super charge awareness and engagement with the WE brand. You will lead, motivate, inspire the marketing teams and broader set of colleagues to promote the agency story. You have proven success partnering with executive leadership to manage strategic global initiatives and drive integrated storytelling campaigns to ensure that every CMO on the planet knows about WE, what we do, and our point of view. Growing our reputation across the markets we operate in, representing the agency at industry events, and wrapping your head around our agency intellectual capital will be critical aspects of the position – all with a focus on lead generation and ROI of growing our business. Successful candidates will have a passion for defining a new kind of B2B marketing in the professional services industry. (Reports to COO)
Responsibilities:
• Owns and manages WE brand story and develops framework to ensure a strategic approach for all agency marketing activities (balance of brand and sales goals)
• Creates the necessary content and activities internally and externally to evangelize agency POV on Brands in Motion, Stories in Motion and Momentum
• Works closely with Global Executive Team, Sector Leaders and General Managers to consult on geographic and regional strategies driven by the sectors / regional geos
• Responsible for defining and driving CEO Leadership platform and developing content to support, and for rationalizing other agency leadership platforms
• Leads and defines agency paid, owned and earned strategy brand presence, consults with regions and guides agency marketing team
• Manages agency marketing team and regional marketing managers to ensure a strong, sustainable, growth-oriented and high performing team
• Overseas team operational and financial performance, responsible for achieving marketing and team business goals
• Carries torch for WE brand and protects investment made to ensure evolution, strong integrity moving forward
Qualifications:
Attributes
• Has both marketing comms experience and strategic communications experience
• Strategic thinker with ability to write compelling content based on agency intellectual capital
• Able to pivot between marketing for brand, and marketing for sales, connects activities to outcomes
• Creative thinker and good eye for design, able to serve as “keeper of the brand” moving forward
• Operates effectively with authority as well as influence (i.e. can lead matrixed teams)
• Able to operate at multiple altitudes (i.e. rolls up sleeves and actually does the work, the writing, as well as directing others)
• Strong people developer, coach and people manager, high quality bar (evolves and builds team of the future)
• Knows when to splurge versus when to be scrappy with resources/budget to get the right results
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent marketing communications and business experience (10+ years)
• Track-record of delivering results in house or in a services company designing and executing marketing communications campaigns
• Understanding of or proficiency in tools that can generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them through the pipeline
