Medibrands Society - Account Director, Client Services
Position Summary
The Account Director will be the client lead for a specific account (or accounts). She/he will oversee the client relationship and insure that the right people are delivering the best results for tasks that could include strategic development, content and production management, community management, and design and development.
Essential Functions
• Lead account(s) with confidence
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships
• Identify and win new opportunities with existing clients
• Manage all logistics and projects; deliver the highest quality product on time and on budget
• Manage community managers and day-to-day brand communications
• Work closely with strategy, creative, production, and social media teams to develop brand-focused creative and communications
• Manage measurement and reporting of ideas
• Identify opportunities to create and produce content including standard flash and static digital banners, online and social video content, sites and mobile apps, social media content such as Vine, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the next new thing.
• Keep abreast of client and category objectives, trends, talent, competitive advertising, and target mindset
• Work with other agencies and internal departments as necessary
• Push and help evolve Mediabrands Publishing to remain innovative and forward-thinking
Qualifications
Work Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a field that you believe to be applicable to strong relationship management
Work Experience:
• 6-9 years of experience in people and project management, experience in the communications industry a plus, but not a necessity
• Experience in leading social media and community management
Skills:
• Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for building and growing an account and an agency
• Work nimbleness and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a timely fashion
• Sound knowledge and interest in digital and social media
• Sound decision making skills based on industry, client, and/or previous experiences
• Evidence of understanding the inner-workings of an automotive OEM
