ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT:
As an Associate Director, Program Management you are a key client liaison and leader of our internal teams who is responsible for the successful delivery of Interbrand programs; working closely with executives and directors to craft new engagements and then deliver industry-leading strategic and creative programs. You will help to steer discipline teams across strategy, creative, implementation and partner with internal finance and operations to deliver work that is on strategy, on time and on budget. Additionally, you will help to guide and coach junior level associates and program managers on assigned team(s).
THE ROLE:
• Manage large scale, complex programs on a global client, which includes overseeing numerous brand programs in tandem with multiple clients to serve
• Grow client relationships through understanding of client’s business, foreseeing program challenges, mitigating risk, and providing impeccable delivery
• Negotiate fees, financial arrangements, and ensure the team is meeting agency profitability while delivering against client expectations
• Proactively identify new business opportunities per client needs, as well as craft pitch presentations of proposed solutions
• Proactively assist in case study development, best practice documentation and lessons learned on assigned client engagements
• Possess a strong knowledge of how Interbrand helps drive business growth for our clients, as well as monitor industry trends and relevant competitive offerings
• Develop a strong understanding of assigned client’s business and industry to deliver outstanding service
• Maintain deep understanding and help to lead agency process, actively participate in reviews of assigned accounts, portfolio resource management, and overall workflow and financial management
• Identify and recommend best-in-class project management tools and processes that can be leveraged across PM team
• Support talent management, specifically related to recruiting, training, mentoring, career development, and performance management
REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum requirement
• 8+ years experience in program or account management role
• Great sense of responsibility, accountability, partnership and an efficient, focused multi-tasker
• Personable, genuine client relationship builder with ability to present confidently to clients
• Strategic, big picture thinker who filters through details to isolate priorities and opportunities
• Pro-active coach and engaged mentor to junior colleagues, with a diplomatic approach to working with all levels
• Leader with a reputation for fostering positive team morale
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools
