Position Summary
We are looking for a VP, Group Partner, Strategy to join our team!
The Strategy Group Partner is responsible for designing innovative and integrated marketing communications solutions for clients at UM NY.
Responsibilities
• Analyzes client business situation and identifies key objectives for communications
• Uses qualitative and quantitative communications channel research to develop insights into the consumer connection with the brand (in partnership with UM research) and applies insights to strategy
• Develop communication strategies for clients that drive innovation and integration
• Maps the end-to-end customer experience and identifies key roles for media
• Collaborates with creative agencies, media planning and activation partners to develop ideas aligned to the customer experience strategy
• Partner with research and analytic teams to develop POVs on research and measurement solutions for clients
• Establish and sell strategy and communications program ideas to clients
• Represent UM in new business pitches
• Lead and manage a junior team
• Customize and develop new strategy tools and products
• Builds strong consultative relationships with clients as integrated marketing communications advisor - Creative and adaptive thinker that enjoys learning, take on unfamiliar challenges, and shaping new strategic approaches and frameworks
Required Skills
• 8+ years integrated marketing communications experience
• Knowledge of research skills required
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Experience communicating information verbally and in writing required
• Must be a team player but also have the ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
