We are currently recruiting for a Director of Strategy
Position Summary:
The Director, Connection Planning is responsible for leading the development and delivery of world class strategic communications services for UM. You will be responsible for promoting UM as a leader in the development and delivery of accountable and creative communications solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Promote UM as a leader in the development and delivery of accountable and creative communications solutions
• Support the expansion of relevant knowledge and skills throughout the agency and within client units
• Support development and promotion of new internal processes
• Liaise with other company functions
• Help establish a “culture of curiosity and creativity”
• Guide channel specific creative product
• Support the development of inspirational consumer and communications insights
• Display strong leadership skills that will motivate staff and create a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications:
• 8-10 years of related media, advertising, brand or marketing strategy/planning experience
• Experience in multiple business categories preferred
• Extensive experience writing and presenting relevant information
• Thorough understanding of digital marketing and communications process
• Evolutionary dynamics of media communications
• IMC theory, practice and process
• ROI evaluation techniques
• Brand activation
• Channel synchronization
• People motivation
• Public speaking
• Post-secondary education - University graduate or College degree preferred in a relevant discipline (Media, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent)
