Our brand practice is seeking a SVP, Account Director. We’re looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, creative, collaborative and highly detail-oriented. That’s right, you’ve gotta be the yin AND the yang.
This is truly an awesome opportunity to lead on one of our largest global accounts. We’re looking for a stronger leader who can advocate for the PR function, work within an interagency mix, build relationships with cross functional groups, manage a high performing team and be willing to roll up their sleeves when needed and do the work.
Our ideal candidate is someone with strong CPG experience who has knowledge of digital and social marketing and significant experience working with other marketing disciplines as part of an integrated team.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the senior agency contact to a large global account; lead and direct all program efforts to client satisfaction; bring a value-added approach to all issues and projects
• Drive integrated agency partnerships and relationships
• Grow strong relationships with senior clients, counsel clients, and become a trusted advisor
• Lead global design and influencer engagement of a large multi-national account .
• Deliver strategic, engaging, and persuasive presentations to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues, and others.
• Work with the senior creative lead to ensure the best work is produced for clients.
• Lead projects from concept/planning to activation. Encourage effective delegation of project deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
• Manage account financials including accurate budget creation, allocation, and control. Ensure budgets are accurate when presented to clients; manage scope of work to those budgets and the budget tracker to ensure we stay on track.
• Build and present concepts and programs for clients and new business opportunities and effectively counsel senior clients
• Build, lead, and develop engaged and dynamic teams.
• Foster respect and collaboration within the team and/or agency partners. Identify issues within the team and drive to .
• Ability to provide counsel and guidance around crisis and issues
• Ability to juggle multiple projects/issues seamlessly
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 14+ years of PR or advertising agency experience and/or a combination of in-house public relations / marketing communications experience.
• Must have proven experience developing and leading fully integrated PR campaigns for large world renowned brands. Proven experience counseling CMO levels.
• Proven track record in growing business and driving partnerships and relationships with integrated agencies.
• Direct experience in building and managing teams; proven experience developing best practices; must be solution oriented. Actively participates in professional and community networks within the PR industry.
