• Reporting to VP, Head of Data Solutions
• Catalina is seeking a Senior Director, Data Solutions to lead the design, development and commercialization of data and analytic capabilities leveraging our robust consumer purchase data and industry marketing data. This is a great opportunity for a passionate data savvy leader with deep experience in marketing data, technology and analytics and a desire to create differentiated consumer insights and marketing performance solutions for our retailer, brand and agency clients. This role leads cross-functional teams and external partners to identify, onboard, enable and commercialize new data sources for broad, insightful and actionable consume insights and audiences.
What you will be doing

• Help identify, design, build and deploy new data and analytic capabilities into Catalina’s comprehensive consumer targeting, content personalization, campaign measurement and marketing insight solutions
• Enrich Catalina’s unique shopper behavioral database through a combination of additional data sources and advanced analytics enabling commercially differentiated capabilities
• Identity, establish and maintain compelling partner and vendor relationships ensuring that Catalina’s data asset is unique, relevant and actionable
• Work closely with internal departments including Product, Technology, Operation, Sales and Data Science to identify, design, build and deploy compelling capabilities with technology and processes that meet agreed to client and internal service levels
• Stay informed on industry trends, technologies and data sources relevant to Catalina and its clients
• Partner with Technology, Data Governance and Operations on our overall data strategy and operations
• Engage with Sales and Marketing to help and ensure that Catalina maximizes its data advantage in the sales and marketing efforts
• Develop and present new business cases to executive management as necessary
• Focus initial efforts on U.S. data and solutions, but design for our international rollout in second phase
What you bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required (MBA ideal)
• Minimum of ten years of product management or development experience
• Successful track record of designing, building and launching data centric solutions in an Agile environment, ideally in the marketing research or marketing technology space
• Experience in retail or CPG is strong preferred
• Experience working with industry marketing data required, ideally from some combination of Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, or leading DMPs
• Solid understanding of marketing analytics and data science techniques, but not necessarily hands-on
• Demonstrates strong customer focus with the ability to produce results in a fast paced and fluid business environment with competing priorities
• Navigates effectively between being strategic and tactical as well as creative and disciplined; enjoys working at the big picture and detail levels
• Ability to lead partner and vendor relationships in a commercially successful way
• Strong proven cross-functional leadership and ability to inspire behind a common goal
• Very strong collaborative skills both internally and externally
• Self-motivated and self-sufficient
