Who we are looking for:
POSSIBLE Shanghai is looking for a Group Account Director, responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing strong external client relationships. In this role, you will maintain stable client relationships, achieve growth on existing accounts and ensure world-class work. You are expected to be the cross-functional (and pan geographic) team leader and manage medium to large scale accounts and independently manages brands within accounts, whilst growing and nurturing the account services team.
What you’ll do:
• Collectively shape Shanghai’s overall positioning and offering as a part of the local management team.
• Drive, develop and lead new business for POSSIBLE and tasked with foster relationships with key decision-makers to secure business opportunities.
• Deepen POSSIBLE’s engagement strategy in collaboration with the account servicing team and workclosely with the department leads to drive revenue growth of selected accounts.
• Be seen as a trusted adviser and thought leader by proactively putting forward new ideas, finding solutions to client’s business needs, monitoring of competitive activity, industry trends and bringing fresh thinking and innovation.
• Accountable for the revenue from each of the accounts and resources required to deliver associated projects and business on these accounts.
• Responsible for the current accounts and account servicing team with regards to aligning business goals, account planning and all associated processes, including agency standards within each account and overall business management.
• Oversee the account management team and lift energy, morale and inspire with an always-on mentality using best practices for the career development. Responsible for mapping career path progression, business rightsizing and staff retention.
What you’ll need:
• 8+ years of relevant experience in a digital marketing communications capacity with local and international clients.
• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills in both English and Mandarin with client presentation and relationship building experience.
• Expertise in clients’ accounts management, resource and budget estimation and financial tracking and accountability
• A problem solver that is highly motivated, enthusiastic, possess desire to win and is a self-starter.
• Must possess proficiency in interpersonal and coaching skills including the ability to lead and inspire personnel to achieve goals.
• Proven track record of growing existing accounts and closing on new business.
