The Director functions as a trusted advisor to CJ Affiliate’s most strategic clients as well as to an internal organization of 25-30 associates including 2-3 Account Directors. This individual ensures CJ’s Advertiser Development team is delivering YOY growth by developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives. The Director provides solid business acumen, and demonstrates expert command of performance marketing channels across our annual strategic initiatives. The Director reports to the Vice President of Client Development, currently based in San Francisco.
Do these things interest you? You will:
• Lead a large portfolio of accounts and are expected to provide oversight of Account Directors and account teams to ensure the appropriate growth strategies are being employed by account teams.
• Ensure all account teams are optimally staffed, developed, as well as trained on the associated core competencies of their roles.
• Set and monitor quarterly revenue targets ensuring upside potential is realized, risk mitigated and financial expectations are met.
• Partner with the sales team on contract renewals, pricing and new solution upsell.
• Address complex issues that cannot be addressed by Account Directors and account teams.
• Play a key role in getting clients to engage in CJ's most strategic product rollouts or consider product offerings from other Conversant businesses. Directors also play a key role in supporting new sales efforts.
What we look for:
• You have a Bachelor's Degree.
• You have 9 plus years of strategic marketing experience (at least 4 in digital) on the agency or customer success side in fast paced work environments.
• You have proven management experience recruiting, managing, leading, and building large teams. You have successfully managed and developed individuals.
• You establish trusted advisor relationships with client organizations to effectively develop relationships and revenue reliability across Strategic Accounts within your portfolio.
• You are analytical, organized and methodical, with phenomenal communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing fluid client needs and expectations.
