STRATEGY DIRECTOR
The Strategy Director works to define and design omni-channel customer experience that has meaningful impact on our client’s business. You collaborate across disciplines including marketing science, experience design, communications, content and technology to craft a vision and roadmap to meet the evolving needs of the customer. You champion the insights and problems we are trying to solve for and lead the client and agency team in building customer-centric solutions. You provide engagement leadership, develop senior level client relationships and are regarded by the client as an expert and trusted advisor. You will be embedded with a small, multi-disciplinary team working across highly strategic and conceptual projects that elevate the end customer experience and solve complex business challenges. You are well-versed in both product and service design and familiar with lean and agile methodologies. You will help connect projects with the larger ecosystem of the brand’s marketing initiatives. You will be working across disciplines and formats including digital channels, content strategy, and use of new technologies. It’s key that you can lead your team counterparts in creative, strategy and analytics to package the work and work-streams into a coherent and meaningful narrative on the role it plays in the overall business and how that connects with the bottom line.
Responsibilities:
• Establishes and maintains a strategic framework for business, built from customer insights, data, business objectives and KPIs including customer journey, experience design work, content and integration of new technologies
• Along with client team, proactively influence key digital initiatives, create prioritization, and counsel on overall roadmap
• Sets strategic direction with agency team; authors creative briefs; leads ideation and concept development alongside creative, technology and client service counterparts
• Partners with the Strategy and Account leads to proactively pitch new work
• Is responsible for overall client satisfaction
• Manage/communicate account progress to CM executive team
Requirements:
• 8+ Years of digital agency or consulting experience
• Experience on global accounts
• Demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience in digital campaign creation and digital experience design
• Delivered best in class/award winning work with measurable results
• Familiar with design thinking methodologies
• Equal parts thinker and doer
• Comfortable wearing a few hats within team and rolling up sleeves to support other disciplines
• Comfortable with data and analytics, experience building business cases to help sell creative work
• A proficiency with the current issues and trends within the online marketing industry, emphasis on emerging media and mobile platforms
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
