Position Summary
We are looking for an Associate Creative Director that can lead a team of production, media, talent and brand partners- be prepared to leave your ego at the door. The right candidate can create a shared vision for a campaign and drive the creative ideas and executions across multiple touch points and partners. They should have a mix of traditional advertising and longer form content experience. They should be comfortable creating content longer than 30 seconds and driving a project from idea, sell-in, pre-production, production, post-production and delivery. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and working on multiple executions concurrently. They must be curious and a great storyteller. Experience working with celebrities and creating campaigns in the teen market is huge plus. Our ideal candidate has both reality TV and traditional TV commercial experience.
Essential Functions
• Oversees staff in the day-to-day activities of the department
• Oversees traditional and digital media plan development and implementation
• Develops media strategies consistent with brand marketing objectives and selling strategy
• Recommends targeted, innovative media vehicles consistent with media strategies
• Measures media performance to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
• Maintains relationships with all levels of client
• Ensures best practices are applied across account responsibilities
• Prepares and makes presentations to clients regarding media recommendations, ensuring buy-in
• Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and handles all personnel requirements for immediate staff including training and development
• Seeks out information to remain current on media trends
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree
Work Experience:
• 5-8 years of experience
• Mix of traditional advertising and longer form content experience preferred
Skills:
• Must have extensive knowledge of video production for TV and Web
• Extensive pop culture knowledge
• Creative thinker and collaborator
• Excellent writing skills
• Fantastic with clients
• Can handle a heavy travel schedule
• Proactive and Entrepreneurial
• Should have some Consumer Package Goods experience
