Wholesale Marketing Manager Pure Players Vans
Responsible for Vans go to market strategies and execution for Zalando & Amazonbased in Stabio, Switzerland. Our wholesale business development in digital channels is one of our key corporate drivers. You are strategically strong with a great resume in wholesale marketing against online platforms. A strong team player with great leadership competencies, and able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in multiple functions. You will have a focus on brand alignment and best in class consumer experience resulting in strongest conversion with each account. This is a high visibility role with opportunities for growth.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY
• Drive & own marketing strategy and planning for Zalando & Amazon to deliver business growth across the digital wholesale channel
• Establish wholesale marketing plans that align with brand strategies and business objectives.
• Establish and own a deep understanding of the Vans consumer at the accounts, business KPIs and communication platforms
• Build strategic relationships with all key functional stakeholders both internally within Vans, but externally with the accounts. Drive the brand with external stakeholders
• Review site performance on weekly basis and adjust marketing approach and planning based on learnings. Report of learnings and plan updates to the larger team
• Budget ownership and management of spend tactically optimised to greatest return of investment. Report budget spend monthly and at all times referenced to key strategies in our go to market process
• Measure return of investment on your activities with the account on a monthly basis. Adapt approach to ensure development in fast moving environment
• Leverage relationships at the accounts to drive new brand initiatives and priorities
• Ensure go to market integration with sales and strong business alignment in marketing plans. (close collaborations with Strategic Account Director and Key Account Manager)
• Be the lead voice of the Vans marketing team at these accounts and the lead voice for the accounts in internal meetings and presentations
• Work closely with brand creative services peers to ensure that campaigns, plans and tools are fulfilling the needs of the platforms and consumer of Zalando and Amazon
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
▪ Marketing or Business Degree.
▪ Minimum 6 years of marketing management experience.
▪ Proven digital marketing achievements and deep understanding E commerce.
▪ Deep understanding of the Vans brand as well as the action sports and lifestyle industries
▪ Language skills: fluent in English (both written and spoken). Fluent in German is a plus.
▪ Able to travel frequently. Minimum travel once per month
▪ Excellent communication and presentation skills
▪ Strong commercial mind set and business acumen
▪ Independent thinker and proactive problem solver
