Job Summary:
The Vice President, Portfolio and Program Management, and the IT PMO will have responsibility for establishing and running a portfolio management process for IT programs and projects at Company as well as for creating a strong PMO competency and repeatable program and project management processes that are measurable and data-driven. This senior IT leader will also work closely with peers in Finance and Procurement to continuously drive down total cost of global IT.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage the portfolio of Company IT projects.
• Establish repeatable processes with clear metrics for scoping, planning, staffing, management and execution of IT programs and projects.
• In conjunction with peers in IT senior leadership, develop and implement standard processes and metrics that span the full lifecycle of IT systems at iHeart.
• In conjunction with peers in IT senior leadership, develop a framework and repeatable process for tracking, allocating, managing and reporting against IT team capacity.
• In conjunction with the IT Finance team, lead activity to identify the total global cost of IT at Company, drive savings on a global scale and track savings achieved.
• Align with counterparts in other business units, including CCOA, CCI and Katz.
Skills and experience required:
• Experience with establishment of a PMO and portfolio management process.
• Strong analytic skills and experience with IT cost management.
• Drive a culture of data-driven decision making across our software development lifecycle.
• Strong general business knowledge and skills and an ability to think about IT from a business perspective.
• Strong working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and with agile, iterative and waterfall methodologies.
• Deep knowledge and experience with establishing metrics and KPI's and executing IT programs and projects towards data-driven business outcomes.
• Experience with setting and meeting business commitments in an agile development and CI/CD environment.
• Experience with IT capacity planning and management and with establishing a framework and process for this.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams via influence.
• Experience in working with senior leadership in a large company environment.
• Sense of urgency and proven ability to deliver high-quality work, quickly, in a highly dynamic environment and under time pressure.
• Masterful written and oral communication and leadership skills, including proven success in presenting ideas and concepts effectively and persuasively.
• Keen understanding and skill in building strong relationships with business and IT leaders.
Education:
• Bachelor of Science, Information Mgt Systems or equivalent field of knowledge required
• Master of Science preferred
