Summary:
The Vice President, Run Products, Connected Fitness will provide leadership over product strategy, roadmaps, market opportunities and product feature sets. The individual will interface with executive management, category leadership, marketing, creative/design, development and external partner teams to manage the successful execution of UA Connected Fitness Products. Success will require ability to work across organizations (both internally & externally) in different locations and insure our strategy is well defined and executed. Customer research, group facilitation, business modeling, business plan development, innovation “design thinking” expertise and attention-to-detail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is required. Experience working in a design-centric, customer-focused environment is essential. This position will be based in either San Francisco, CA or Austin, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ownership of key business objectives for all digital running products (e.g. active user growth, revenue, retention, etc...)
• Definition, design and execution of the digital experience for Record Equipped footwear for runners specifically – in collaboration and alignment with the run product, marketing, and brand teams
• Ownership of the “ARRR” funnel for all users of digital run products:
• Activation – download, registration, successful onboarding and initial usage
• Revenue – conversion to premium subscription & other conversion initiatives (including ecommerce for shoes & shirts)
• Retention/reactivation – growing Monthly Active Users
• Referral – development of “viral loops” and socially engaging experiences
• Goal setting and prioritization of key initiatives on a quarterly and annual basis
• Definition of the product strategy and product roadmap that aligns to key business objectives
• Providing executive leadership for the overall team in digital running
• Direct management of 15+ product management and design teammates
• Connected Fitness Austin office executive leadership – this role will entail serving as the geographic “site lead” for 150+ teammates in Austin and maintaining a positive presence for UA in the broader Austin marketplace
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
• Consumer focused: experience developing digital products at scale (millions of users) via direct customer relationship with consumers and end-users
• Ability to influence and execute complex initiatives across a wide range of departments, partners, disciplines, and experience levels
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to work across teams in different geographic locations
• Solid understanding of business modeling methodology including forecasting, market size evaluation and market data research
• Experience acting as a meeting/session facilitator in a product setting
• Infield research experience, including developing research plan, conducting interviews and harvesting actionable insights
• At least 10 years of digital product leadership experience
• At least 10 years’ experience managing the planning, development, and launch of complex product solutions involving software, hardware, and services.
• 4 year degree in a related field
• Strongly desired:
◦ Experience with IoT and/or wifi/Bluetooth connected devices and accessories
◦ Experience in the specialty running and/or sporting goods and outdoor category
