Job Summary:
Sound is exploding on the media landscape today. Headphones are the best selling electronics item, radio is the biggest medium in America and growing while tv continues to decline, podcasts are transforming audio storytelling and concert attendance is up 34% year over year. In a world of video saturation and visual distraction, audio is the next greenfield for marketers. And iHM is the leader in everything sound reaching more than 265m listeners across speakers, screens and stages every month.
We are looking for a strategic and creative thinker who can partner with the biggest and most innovative brands and agencies in the nation to make audio a key part of every campaign leveraging all of the Company assets from live broadcast radio across 856 stations to our digital app with 85m registered users, our new data and programmatic tools, our roster of big name talent and thousands of concert events every year including iHeartRadio Music Festival, Jingle Ball and many more.
Key skills and experience include:
• Strategic Planning:This person will know how to get beyond tactics and spots and dots to develop compelling and cohesive strategies that result in long-term partnership and platform development with brands.
• Deep Knowledge of brands, agencies and how to things get done from their Company website person will help us integrate into communications planning and campaign development with clients, media and creative agencies. So a real understanding of the process, roles and realities of selling in big ideas and shifting spend is critical.
• Passion for ideas and Company website person will love ideating, innovating and selling ideas. World class pitch development skills are at the core of this job combined with the ability to learn fast and scale from the single pitch to developing systemic ways to win at scale.
• Ability to understand today and push to Company website person will have proven experience driving innovation and being a change agent in their prior roles.
• Master Company website with most strategic and creative roles today, this person will need to partner amazingly well across teams and be able to represent client interests back to programming, content, engineering, business development teams and C Suite executives
• Love to close. This is a job tied to real revenue and results and so accountability, speed and impact quickly are important.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience creating strategy and developing campaigns and a real passion for innovation.
Background in media preferred
