GENERAL FUNCTION
The Director of Visual Merchanidse, In-Store Communication is the team leader for the Retail Execution/Visual Merchandising of all Company retailer brands in North America; Sunglass Hut, Lenscrafters, Retail Licensed Brands, Pearle Vision and others covering over 4,500 retail stores.
The Director of In Store Communications guarantees the quality and efficiency of all the Visual Merchandising activities execution, through a deep knowledge of the Retail channel (stores, VM standards, tools) and a continuous interaction with the local brand teams. The Director of In-Store Communications leads a team representing the point of contact for the collection of Visual Merchandising local needs, allowing the corporate creative and supply chain department to develop the proper tools and graphics for each store, and coordinates the processes to give the execution instructions to the stores.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring the proper functioning of the new team and the full integration in the organization
• Cross retailer brands Project Management
• Lead a team of people, responsible for the coordination of team activities
• Development of new platforms and processes that can give uniformity and efficiency to the work
• Facilitate strong interaction between the Retailer Brand Teams (GM, Mktg, Ops) and the Corporate Teams (In-store communication team)
• Smart management of the short term request of action (tests, promotions,..)
• Ownership of Store Code sheets for Distribution files maintenance
• Coordination for the in-store Props management
• NRR meetings/processes involvement (New Remodeling e Reallocation)
• Management of platforms for the communication to the stores (maintenance of the current platforms, development of new ones)
• Ensuring the quality of the last mile VM execution (Front Door Flagships execution, in store events VM activities.
• Budget management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 10+ years in similar roles, preferably in the Retail channel, with multi-brands approach and high levels of complexity
• Proactivity skill and ability to develop/manage new organizations and new processes
• Change agent with a positive attitude in order to facilitate new process and way of working mindset in the organization
• Strong Project management skills
• Strong experience working cross functions, and interacting with teams domestically and globally
• Ability to partner with Retail Brand GMs, and to influence executive leaders
• People management skills
• Solid Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
