Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
This role is responsible for ensuring our retail store environments provide an outstanding experience for consumers, through training store teams on global visual merchandising standards and retail marketing execution in assigned stores.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly visits to relevant stores
• Complete audits during all store visits using adidas Compliance Checklist (aRMS – VM)
• Identify and communicate visual merchandising needs and best practices in conjunction with Store Managers and VM Champs.
• Assist stores in implementing campaign briefs, while ensuring execution meets local and global standards.
• Ensure that VM direction complements all retail marketing activity, in regards to campaign execution and store staff training.
• Provide day-to-day support for stores in meeting visual direction, brand standards, and deployment of VM direction, with a focus on the in-store VM Champs and Store Managers.
• Implement and assist store teams to consistently demonstrate the Global CTC Visual Merchandising standards in all store concepts and formats within the Market.
• Support the retail team (Marketing, merchandising, and store development) to ensure that every store’s condition is of the highest standard at all times.
• In conjunction with the Specialist, Visual Merchandising; drive training initiatives to provide systematic direction and brand updates to the relevant store teams, Store Managers and VM Champs.
• Assist stores on a monthly basis to complete VM Compliance, demonstrating compliance with Global CTC Visual merchandising standards and to ensure best practice executions are shared with the business.
• Update and help Store Managers and VM Champs to maintain the Space Capacity Tool (SCT) for all stores in the relevant area.
• Provide feedback to the Specialist, Visual Merchandising on weekly store visits, including any training provided to stores as well as detailed before and after photos.
• Work closely with the District Manager to optimise store VM Compliance.
• Play a lead role, in conjunction with the Specialist, Visual Merchandising to set up new stores within the relevant area.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Fully qualified and/or experienced in retail Visual Merchandising, combining theoretical with practical experience.
• Experience working in an external facing marketing, sales or operations role in the retail industry (preferably in the sporting goods industry).
• Detail oriented.
• Leading and managing a diverse team.
• Good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English.
• Good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Secondary education or equivalent professional experience
• Two years dedicated visual merchandising experience
