Execute and maintain corporate visual merchandising standards within assigned retail stores. Ensure that corporate visual standards are maintained through an underlying commitment to best In class talent, brand execution, operational excellence and collaboration with partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Management
• Partner, coach and develop store teams to understand corporate visual merchandising standards
• Organise and conduct visual merchandising training sessions for retail
• Instil accountability in store to maintain visual standards
Brand Execution
• Execute corporate visual merchandising guidelines across assigned retail store
• Implement window displays and in-store installations according to corporate standards and timelines
• Actively participate with store management team to make the best visual decisions for that store whilst maintaining the corporate visual standards
• Regularly assess and assist product merchandising of all categories (Accessories, Womenswear, Menswear) for assigned retail store to ensure standards are maintained (may include ordering props)
• Partner with the Visual Merchandising Manager, SF to plan and implement floor moves
• Participate in new store openings across all regions as required
• Demonstrate awareness of current advertising and marketing campaigns, new product launches and update store visuals accordingly
• Put forward ideas and suggestions for the merchandising of the product
• Participate in the organisation of special in-store events, where necessary
Operational Excellence
• Ensure corporate visual guidelines are distributed and implemented successfully and on time in assigned retail store.
• Follow up on store Visual Manager check list to ensure luxury standards in collaboration with operations
• Ensure merchandise used on display in retail stores is accounted for and cared for properly
• Be budget aware and control display budget for assigned store
Collaboration & Communication
• Communicate visual calendar and priorities to the store teams
• Partner with the District manager and Visual Manager to schedule monthly store visits
• Partner with Retail Merchandising to feedback insight regarding local execution
• Communicate local market insight competitor intelligence and hindsight analysis to corporate partners
PERSONAL PROFILE:
• Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or related field or equivalent business experience
• Comprehensive understanding of merchandising initiatives and P.O.P development process
• Knowledge of window installation including painting, how to use power tools and the ability to adapt corporate directives as they pertain to each individual store
• 3-5 years visual merchandising experience preferably with a high end luxury brand
• Ability to take the lead on all merchandise presentation and store sets across retail stores and wholesale doors
• Relationship management and training
