Overview and Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing Recreations global account directors and all on-going business related matters related to Nickelodeon branded hotels/resorts, theme parks, attractions, cruises, exhibitions and domestic live stage tour relationships world wide
• Report to the global head of Recreation and carry out the strategic and tactical plans for the managing, growth and exploitation of current roster of partnerships
• Ensure that account directors are effectively and efficiently managing partnerships, to include: ongoing communication, recurring calls, coordinating annual meetings and enforcement of contractual provisions
• Work closely with the management teams from the Nickelodeon Creative Resources (NCR) and Orlando based Nickelodeon Experience Design (NED) creative teams on the creative development process that supports Nickelodeon’s creative goals and meets the partner’s objectives
• Lead efforts between the account directors, VIMN/Nickelodeon Brand teams and partners to develop annual marketing programs that align with Nickelodeon’s initiatives.
• Work closely with the management teams from Nickelodeon Consumer Products and retail teams to find ways for Recreation partners to leverage existing licensed product lines and vendors to develop compelling recreation merchandise
• Manage the Recreation merchandise coordinator and oversee the merchandise development process and efforts of all partners
• Guide, manage and track all financial royalty reporting and forecasting for all current Recreation partnership
• Ensure that the account directors are working in close coordination with the international channels and clusters to ensure territory specific goals, in international markets are achieved for Recreation, the channel and partners
• Make sure Recreation partners are adhering to all aspects of their contractual obligations
• Monitor the internal routing process of submissions by partners for internal review and approval by NCR, Press, brand marketing, NED, legal, standards and other for timeliness
• Review and provide approval of partner’s marketing, merchandise submissions and other business related matters where appropriate
• Partner with Integrated Marketing management to develop an effective sponsorship development and management program for all Recreation partnerships
• Work closely with the Research department to provide consumer insight and/or conduct studies as needed to support Recreation partners
• Oversee and lead the annual meetings with all Recreation partners
• Any other duties assigned by the Global Head of Recreation
Basic Qualifications
• 5 – 10 years in account management
• Bachelor’s degree – Graduate degree a plus with emphasis on business or marketing
