The role:
As one of the world’s largest online businesses, Ticketmaster processes millions of ticket orders and millions of dollars of payment charges every month. The moment of purchase is one of the most important moments for fans in their buying experience.
In this role you would be responsible for both the fan experience and the significant PnL associated with the entire Payment process – from back end processing to fan interaction.
What the job is:
• Strategic responsibility for our Payments ecosystem; the makeup of our payments infrastructure, who we partner with, what payment methods we offer, how we improve our fans experience
• Making the Payments experience a Unique Selling Point for Ticketmaster
• Day to Day management of our key Payment metrics; Cost per transaction, Payment Conversion rates, Error messaging and decline monitoring, Fan satisfaction at the point of purchase
• Optimization of our existing Payments ecosystem; using our scale to reduce cost
• Investigation of new ways for fans to purchase and to make the purchase experience fast and easy; new payment methods, one click purchase, crypto currencies, etc.
• Working cross functionally to leverage our expertise and deliver results
What a qualified candidate should possess:
• A minimum of 4 years experience in a senior Payments role in an online business
• Previous experience making significant reductions in processing costs in a large online business
• Exceptional knowledge of the Payments back end infrastructure; architecture, processing, and routing – Credit and Debit Cards processing, ewallets, ACH, etc.
• Experience integrating Payment options; PSP’s and directly with Payment providers
• Experience adding value through improved payment conversion rates, reduced chargebacks and front end UX
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
• A passion for Payments and all things online
• An analytical mind, a results driven approach and no ego…
