Job Description Summary
Company Society is looking for a creative thinker and highly motivated and innovative marketing leader who can drive highly effective partner-specific communications strategies and ideas targeting individuals, foundations and corporations around the world in order to secure financial support for the organization’s philanthropic work. The position will report to the SVP of Marketing & Brand.

Responsibilities
1. Drive Strategies and Ideas that Generate Funding (40%)
• Set the strategic direction for all partnership marketing opportunities and communications, generating “big ideas” for proposals to new individuals, foundations, corporations, as well as innovative, multi-platform communications to existing funding partners.
• Package brand and programmatic initiatives into customized “big asks” that strategically drive the organization’s agenda while meeting the partner’s needs.
• Oversee RFP response to ensure the NGS value proposition is front and center
• Develop partner communication strategies that support revenue goals and compliment direct donor appeal strategies in partnership with SVP Partnerships and VP Integrated Donor Marketing
• Drive awareness of NGS impact with key partnership audiences and support programmatic impact goals through funding partnerships
• Create new and innovative strategies for engaging partners and communicating impact across multiple platforms
2. Oversee all Partnership Marketing Communications and Benefit Fulfillment (30%)
• Lead the development of compelling, high-quality, on-brand partner-centric communication materials for multiple platforms including Powerpoints/Keynotes, digital, print, video and events
• Oversee the creation of the annual report, partner-specific and programmatic reports that demonstrate impact and value
• Develop partnership benefit structures and manage fulfillment of partner benefits
• Support Partnership team throughout entire stewardship process – from initial partner conversations to post-funding communications
3. Lead and Manage High-performing Team (20%)
• Lead team of four, including Partnership Marketing Directors and Coordinators, providing strategic direction, marketing expertise and oversight, driving idea generation and innovation, and supporting growth and development of team skills and talent.
• Manage department priorities as well as day-to-day workflow and assignments, developing new processes to ensure the delivery of the highest quality work representative of this brand
• Stay current on trends in philanthropic and foundation giving as well corporate social responsibility and brand partnerships
4. Spearhead Collaborations with Internal and External Partners (10%)
• Collaborate with Company Partners global ad sales marketing team in the development of cross organizational partner strategies and ideas
• Collaborate with Impact Programs and Partnership teams to ensure opportunities align with impact goals and partnership priorities
• Partner with Impact Marketing, Events & Sponsorships, Brand Strategy and Creative teams to ensure consistency of positioning, messaging and branding as well as execution of materials and events
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or related field
Minimum Years and Type of Experience
15+ years of related experience with at least 5 years of personnel management experience
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong interpersonal and written communications skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and consistently deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial spirit
Collaborative team player with diplomatic temperament
Mastery of Keynote/PowerPoint
Supervision
Four staff members.
