Overview and Responsibilities
The Nickelodeon Partner Marketing Vice President leads the team in development of convergent market-leading marketing concepts for our advertising clients. The Vice President is responsible for representing Nickelodeon internally & externally and leading the thinking and innovation behind our custom marketing programs across digital, social, TV and off-channel platforms.
The Vice President reports into the SVP, Partner Marketing and Events.
Responsibilities
• Lead team of Directors & Managers to create innovative, branded convergent & digital only (branded & non-branded) marketing concepts across Nickelodeon TV, digital, social and mobile platforms for our advertising clients
• Serve as point person for overarching concept and ensure all elements are strategic, innovative, and support client objectives and Nickelodeon brand priorities, shows and events
• Spearhead convergent proposals and ensure all elements support the overall concept and strategy
• Create and lead a team to create strategic marketing proposals that showcase excellent storytelling, drive incremental advertising revenue and properly represent the Nickelodeon brand
• Function as category expert for designated account list
• Inspire a team of Marketing Directors & Managers to deliver the best work possible
• Manage the career growth and development of the team
• Partner with Ad Sales and project management teams to ensure marketing concept and client objectives are maintained throughout the campaign, from concept development to launch
• Infuse key category and demo expertise into each marketing proposal
• Constantly research new TV activations, digital trends, platforms and experiences that can inform our marketing proposals
• Present marketing concepts internally and externally
Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience leading development of integrated marketing programs
Additional Qualifications
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences
• Passion for TV and digital media
• Strategic thinker
• Excellent PowerPoint skills
• Experienced team leader who draws out the best performance from each member of the team
• Highly skilled diplomat who can work effectively across multiple departments and external parties
• Comfortable overseeing multiple proposals at once in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong desire to work for a global brand and to help drive innovation within the organization
