Company is calling a Vice President of Mission Integration to Company in Northwest Washington - Everett, WA.
In this position you will:
• Participate as a member of the regional senior leadership team, working directly with the chief executive.
• Participate in key leadership groups for strategy and planning.
• Participate in ministry decision making.
• Provide inspirational leadership.
• Organize and facilitate the use of the Company Ethical Discernment Process.
• Participate in the integration of Mission and values into policies, procedures, objectives, and service in operational areas: e.g., management development, human resources, finance, planning, advocacy/government relations, communication and marketing, community information services, etc.
• Work with the system formation director and executive team to ensure effective leadership formation, including Foundations of Catholic Healthcare as well as ongoing formation within the ministry, including the CMB and Foundation Board.
• Assures education on and compliance with Ethical and Religious Directives in the local ministries.
• Assures the appropriate delivery of spiritual care services for both patients and caregivers throughout the continuum of care.
• Oversee and participate in delivering orientation program to introduce caregivers, leaders, providers, and affiliates to the Company heritage, Mission and values.
• In partnership with finance and planning departments, ensures that the community needs assessment process and the integration of the results into community benefit/strategic plans are completed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
• An advanced degree in theology or related field.
• Minimum of three to five years of senior management experience in health services or a related field with similar experiences in a complex organizational setting.
• Proven track record in the development and implementation of programs, policies and processes to enhance mission/values integration and development into management and governance practices in a complex social service organization.
• Experience working with boards of trustees and Community Benefit Committees.
• Experience with clinical and organizational ethics
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with and facilitate adult learning groups in an education / formation setting.
• Must be a practicing Catholic
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
• Advance study in a field related to mission integration, health care administration, organizational development, education, or social services.
Region Description:
Company serves the NW Washington market with a variety of services that include Company Regional Medical Center Everett (PRMCE), Company Medical Group (PMG), Company Institute for Healthier Communities (PIHC), Company Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County (PHHC), PacLab, and Company-Swedish Health Alliance (ACO). In addition, the Northwest Washington Region has numerous collaborative and contractual relationships with other healthcare entities across the continuum of care including Fairfax Hospital and Bethany of the Northwest.
PRMCE’s Colby and Pacific campuses provide general acute care and associated diagnostic and therapeutic services. PRMCE serves as the region’s Level 2 Trauma Center as well as is the regions tertiary services provider in cardiac, thoracic, vascular services, maternal-fetal medicine, neonatal intensive care, neurology, neurosurgery, inpatient rehabilitation, and cancer services. The Mill Creek campus provides outpatient x-ray, pharmacy, and laboratory services in addition to leased space for primary and specialty care.
PMG provides an ambulatory care network and community-wide tertiary specialty base through employed or contracted primary care and specialty providers in nine primary care locations, two urgent care locations and eight specialty services throughout Snohomish county. It’s recently opened Monroe ACC as a model for future large clinic developments.
PHHC is the largest provider of home care services in Snohomish County. In-home services include hospice, home health, and emergency response and support. The agency serves residents of Snohomish County and Camano Island.
