Description
Principle Objective: Responsible for Company North America Education, retail
engagement and Special Events. Works collaboratively with the North America Affiliate and
Global teams to ensure initiatives are maximized to drive retail traffic, consumer experience and
client loyalty. Manages New York Office team, works closely with Field Sales Teams to develop
abilities to coach, teach, train and achieve retail objectives. Leads the execution efforts as they
relate to all Education, Talent Development, Artistry and Special Event programs to elevate key
brand service platforms with a 360 approach. Responsible for the development, adaptation, and
implementation of all field development programs. Work collaboratively with Marketing,
Creative, Retail Partners and Account Management teams to ensure Education initiatives are
maximized to impact overall Company business.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
§ Directly supervises, develops and builds New York Office and field education team.
Develops team talents and capabilities to lead their New York Office teams to
successfully execute Education initiatives
§ Defines measurable business criteria in alignment with Education. Sales measurements
should be held accountable on both annual performance bonus objectives and
performance reviews.
§ Collaborates with North America Marketing and Account Management to identify
Education opportunities by retailer and channel. Drive the execution of programs through
the Field teams to maximize overall business growth.
§ Collaborates with Global Education team to ensure programs are relevant to the needs in
the North America market. Provide insights from Field and Retailers.
§ Leads all development, adaptation, and execution of all brand consumer strategies,
specifically elevating the High Touch experience between the Beauty Advisor/Cast and
Consumer designed to drive overall brand growth.
§ Defines measurable business objectives behind all Event Platforms- Makeup Artistry,
Spa, and Launch Events. Identify National business opportunities, oversees National
event strategy and execution, and leads post event ROI analysis.
§ Lead and oversee the 360 planning to drive the execution of all point of sale development
programs. Ensure consistency of brand message behind all Education and Special Event

initiatives. Align with NOAM Marketing team to ensure programs identify and meet
NOAM business need.
§ Partners with Field and Retail Partners to execute programs that result in improved
Beauty Advisor productivity and reduced Beauty Advisor turnover.
§ Leads Sales and Education team usage of Talent principles and strength management
to ensure team development and succession planning.
§ Manages Retail Talent Support Team Director. Identifies and partner on Talent
investment programs necessary to drive NOAM business objectives inclusive of
interviewing, selection, and retention tools.
§ Responsible for the Field Executive Orientation process. Develops and structures
program to orientate Field Executives to the Company brand.
§ Leads North America Sales & Education meetings. Collaborates on all details for each
meeting with respective partners involved.
QUALIFICATIONS
§ 10+ years of Education Experience, Retail experience a plus
§ BA degree
§ Solid understanding of North America market and specific needs of market
§ Strategic Thinking and Learning Agility- ability to come up with new ways of educating
§ Candidate must have strong communication and excellent writing skills.
§ Should have strong conceptualization and education program development skills
§ Experience in the production of written and visual materials
§ Ability to work well independently and with a team, attention to detail and accuracy
§ Superior organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills
