The position will work closely with leadership across the Crisis & Risk practice and the broader Edelman network. Proven expertise in crisis readiness and complex issues, such as legal and regulatory affairs, is preferable.
Some responsibilities of the Vice President:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, in partnership with home office, region and practice
• Partner with other practices and offices in both client service and new business
• Manage team members and support Group Head with budgeting, business development and strategic vision
• Support practice reporting and training

• Experience working with legal teams, both in-house and outside counsel
• Experience working with news media, notably business and financial media and/or investigative journalists
• Ability to work as a self-starter, requiring limited supervision
• Entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude and ability to collaborate with colleagues across the network
• Poise and confidence to hold your own with senior executives and boards
• Attention to detail is a must
Basic qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as English, Journalism or Political Science
