Overview
The Vendor Relations Coordinator provides support for the Vendor Relations and Compliance Manager, with a particular emphasis on managing the vendor experience. This position has a specific focus on improving processes internally, as well as from a vendor standpoint, with the end goal being enhancing the vendor experience while simultaneously improving efficiency in the supply chain. The Vendor Relations Coordinator will serve as a liaison to the rest of the organization as well as external contacts to ensure an effective URBN vendor experience.
Responsibilities
Key Interfaces
-All URBN brands: Free People, Anthropologie, Company, Terrain, BHLDN
-All URBN production staff
-All Vendors
-Various software support staff
-Customs and Regulatory Compliance departments
-Other departments involved in the supply chain
Responsible for managing the vendor experience including the vendor on-boarding process as well as ongoing vendor support.
Drive new initiatives and improve processes to reduce friction in the supply chain, ultimately improving vendor compliance as well as speed-to-market.
Responsible for driving new initiatives designed to enhance and improve the vendor process.
Will be required to have a thorough understanding of Tradestone, the vendor guidelines, and all compliance related requirements.
Proofread and edit vendor communication drafts and final materials for appropriate and consistent format.
Apply expert knowledge of company policy/procedures as appropriate in getting approvals and making requests.
Organize and develop training sessions for vendors, as well as for buying teams and buying support groups.
Qualifications
• High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of website maintenance and retail operations a plus

B.A. degree or equivalent experience, preferred
