Context

Company’s API Management team design, build and deliver global API platform capability that support Company’s vision of connecting with every learner, on any device, anywhere in the world, and to improve their lives through education.
20% of your time will focused on training/your apprenticeship coursework
80% of your time will be spent in the office supporting your team
The API Management Program team have taken on wider, global responsibilities to provide portfolio visibility and integrated delivery processes to keep us focused on the customer priorities and our must-wins. The team is responsible for the governance, socialization and automation of APIs to power our Digital Product Platforms. This role will support the team as they increase their scope.
Key accountabilities
1. Collect requirements and design a user journey that will create a better PDN experience for developers that onboard APIs to the API Management Platform.
2. Interview key business stakeholders to collect business requirements
3. Define key milestones
4. Define a Site Journey
5. Contribute to the development of the Developer Web Portal that seamlessly integrates with Swagger and Apigee so that developers can exercise early versions of APIs
6. Present incremental progress to key stakeholders, collect feedback and iterate over design
Qualifications
Key competencies
The position would suit a highly motivated self-starter who would like to pursue a career within a large dynamic organisation.
The role will suit a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail as well as organisational skills. The post holder will need to be PC computer literate and able to work to tight deadlines with the ability to work under pressure and be flexible in their approach to problem solving.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of a co-ordination or administrative role (Desirable)
• Proven previous experience of project or process management (Desirable)
Working Pattern
• 37.5 hour core working week
