Tasks & Responsibilities
• Day-to-day responsibility for all UX activity across online, mobile and app, ensuring an optimal experience across all platforms
• Collate improvement ideas from across the business and prioritise
• Undertake competitor reviews to identify elements of best practice within journeys
• Create improvement ideas by analysing qualitative and quantitative data and making recommendations
• Work with stakeholders to identify and define features, use cases and user stories
• Translate customer stories into effective information architecture
• Create briefing documents, concept sketches, user flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction specifications for website and applications
• Produce prototypes to demonstrate the proposed solution to stakeholders and for usability testing
• Clarify design specifications with designers and development, validate and monitor quality output
• Ensure all work is delivered on time, aligned with business goals and improves our users’ experience
• Work with insights and analytics stakeholders to stay abreast of customer needs, wants and behaviours; identify, optimize and monitor your designs
• Liaise with Insight and Optimisation team to produce, design and implement items for MVT Roadmap
• Work closely with stakeholders in the Trading, Creative, Marketing and Production teams to deliver projects and campaigns
• Regularly review work with design peers and leadership to collect feedback on direction and ensure work is well aligned with other stakeholders
• Contribute to user experience design, product and development best practices and standards
Key Experience, Skills & Abilities
Essential
• Solid experience as a UX Architect
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), related field, or equivalent years of professional experience
• Experience designing across mobile and tablet is a must
• You will have worked on highly visible big-brand, consumer-facing initiatives for fashion/retail
• You’ll have a portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions which have made a measurable impact on performance
• Experience using analytics data to inform design decisions previous experience of project management from concept to completion
• Proficient in Axure, wire framing and prototyping user journeys
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Desirable
• Knowledge of web development including HTML, CSS and javascript
• Experience performing informal and formal usability testing workshops, writing the test scripts, and carrying out testing
• Proficient using Sketch
