Job Purpose
Responsible for the delivery of effective travel and corporate security support, training and other related procedures for all Company travellers, and for the analysis of social media and open source information pertaining to external and corporate security risks.
Key Accountabilities
• Monitor new and emerging travel and corporate security threats, and provide balanced threat assessments to support Company business activities in developed and emerging markets
• Provide effective travel and corporate security and risk management analysis to the Corporate Security Director
• Manage travel security procedures in line with policies defined by the Corporate Security Director.
• Provide all travellers with relevant and balanced travel security advice, pertinent to their travel destination and personal profile.
• Maintain and develop the Travel Security website and associated links
• Co-ordinate and liaise with relevant travel security agencies and bodies
• Manage the day to day engagement with the company designated travel security provider service.
• Investigate breaches of Travel Security Process and Policy.
• Undertake process improvement where gaps/new locations are added.
• Investigate travel data errors and missing data, at TMC source and with the traveller.
• Provide training on relevant systems to other Corporate Security personnel.
• Manage technology platforms to provide accurate business traveller tracking
• Provide incident support to the Corporate Security Director in the management of incidents affecting Company employees on business travel.
• Deliver awareness training on travel security matters to all businesses and functions as required.
• Interface with the Global Travel Commodity Leader - and attend meetings as required
• Conduct analysis of social media and other open source information to define security risks presented to Company by external activist and protest groups.
• Provide analytical reports on these emerging risks.
• Develop and deliver bespoke analytical reports pertinent to Company events on external risks and threats, based on open source research.
Qualifications
Key Experiences and any Qualification RequirementsEssential
• In depth knowledge of the Global Business operating locations
• Proven ability to analyse information about geopolitical and physical security risks, and to produce detailed and accurate threat assessment reports.
• A strong understanding of travel corporate security and risk management best practice.
• Proven ability to develop and implement security, risk and governance strategies, policies and processes and audit programmes.
• Investigative and Fraud related experience a plus.
Preferred
• Experience of working with business managers.
• Experience of the commercial travel market.
