Responsibilities
The Traffic Coordinator receives and procures all commercial materials and instructions from clients, ad agencies, production houses, sales reps, and in-house production. The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of Traffic instructions for advertisers’ broadcast schedules on KNTV and NNTV (COZI). The Traffic Coordinator will also reconcile daily logs and maintain a current and accurate commercial library.
• Receive commercial materials via established methods, assign internal station house numbers and insure their receipt at the KNTV master control Hub
• Implement commercial Traffic instructions into the Wide Orbit Traffic system
• Make copy revisions and manual day-of-air changes to log when required
• Work ahead with agencies and dub houses to insure copy and instructions are adhered to and revised when requested
• Provide back-up for other traffic functions as needed
• Reconcile daily logs ensuring accurate billing file
Qualifications/Requirements
Eligibility Requirements:
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through Company website to be considered
• Must be willing to work in San Francisco, CA and at the station in San Jose, CA when necessary
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Traffic Software – WideOrbit a plus
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail – must manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills – will work with multiple departments and team members at all levels
• Self-motivated, dependable and punctual – must demonstrate a high level of commitment
• Ability to work long hours and weekends when required
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
