Ecommerce Content Manager
SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Ecommerce Content Manager include owning the customer satisfaction and conversion of Company website. This position will manage the commerce content calendar and lower funnel shopping tactics that ultimately drive sales. A customer-first perspective, utilizing innovative and strategic thinking, drives projects and priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage content calendar creation working collaboratively with the Buyers, Merchandisers and Digital Brand Marketing Manager.
• Optimize and maximize on-site search capabilities with outside vendor. Strategize for enhancements.
• Manage vendor relationships, internal partners and site experience of customer reviews, sizing information, and store locator. Actively ensure optimization and strategize for enhancements.
• Partner with Business Manager on new and innovative personalization and testing opportunities with a focus on customer satisfaction and conversion.
• Strategize opportunities with new and existing vendors for conversion innovation and advancement. Lead any future projects and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage overall site navigation. Ensure optimization and best practices are followed.
• Manage the catalog upload process working collaboratively with the Merchandisers, IT team, Copywriters and Asset Coordinators and translation team.
• Lead cross-functional site launches and business events via script management, ticket support and partner collaboration.
• Train and develop the Content Coordinator.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience. Minimum 5 years in a management level ecommerce, merchandising, and/or marketing role.
• Experience working strategically with multiple vendors across different technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work cross functionally with a team to execute tasks & projects.
• Managing and growing direct reports.
• Innovative and strategic thinking.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Self-starter who is able to ramp up quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as a leader, a manager and as a member of a cross functional team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users.
• Passion for ecommerce and best practices, with a consumer-first perspective.
• Detail-oriented, strong problem solving capabilities, and an innovative nature.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Familiarity working with third party vendors and ecommerce tools: Coremetrics, Adobe Analtyics, GA, Websphere Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager (or similar Analytics and CMS).
