DESCRIPTION:
Showtime Networks Inc., a leader in premium entertainment programming, is seeking an Account/Sales Manager within the Distribution Team.
Position Summary:
The Account/Sales Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day marketing, subscriber & revenue growth with assigned streaming partners: Amazon Prime, Apple, and Sony PlayStation Vue. This position is also responsible for all financial analyses, customer relations, and working closely with the Distributor Marketing group in executing specific online campaigns that drive Showtime app downloads and free trial conversion of Showtime.
Principle Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
• Cultivate customer relationships with key marketing, media and product teams within assigned account
• Identify and develop innovative and creative marketing and sales initiatives in order to maximize free trial sign-ups, paid conversion, and retention efforts
• Work closely with distributor to maximize Showtime’s placement/positioning within clients OTT service or App environment
• Every month, track and monitor Showtime’s marketing activities with assigned streaming partners
• Develop and sell in Showtime marketing programs that are on brand strategy and meet account goals and objectives that include, increased brand awareness, subscribers and revenue for Showtime
• Co-manage OTT marketing expense budget
• Engage OTT distributors’ retail partners to develop innovative marketing campaigns that drive download and free trial conversion
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong understanding of the streaming landscape and emerging opportunities to support acquisition and retention initiatives for Showtime-Over-the-Internet
• Digital marketing experience strongly preferred, with familiarity of mobile, emerging media and social, display landscape, and search strategy
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and collaborative skills required in order to manage multiple projects and decision makers at once
• Excellent follow-up skills required to manage multiple daily requests
• Ability to be proactive, plan ahead, foresee pitfalls, and determine the best course of action
• Ability to balance various points of view on a daily basis, while setting expectations
• Computer Proficiency (Strong Word, Excel and Power Point skills a must; Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign and Illustrator preferred)
• Ability to work in a self-directed team environment
