We are currently expanding our technical accounting and financial reporting team and are looking for a senior analyst who thrives in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be part of a group that manages the financial reporting process from close and consolidation all the way through SEC filing. This role will focus on researching and educating the business on technical accounting issues including new accounting pronouncements but will also play a key role in financial reporting both on a consolidated level and for our international subsidiaries.
Qualities We’re Looking For:
• Accounting smarts and a solid foundation - Strong technical accounting skills and the ability to navigate through accounting research tools. We’d like you to have 6+ years of accounting experience under your belt backed by a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance. CPA license is required.
• Attention to detail - We pride ourselves on producing high quality work which includes picking up key terms in contracts and accounting guidance, as well as scrutinizing important numbers and formulas for accuracy. That means you need to be comfortable using Excel pivot tables and be unphased by large data sets.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication - You’ll be building relationships across finance teams and with our business partners and need to be able to communicate effectively to drive understanding. This includes having the ability to summarize technical accounting issues and conclusions in writing in a way that makes sense.
Responsibilities Include:
• Act as a technical accounting resource for the company and communicate with business and accounting partners to ensure technical issues are identified and resolved.
• Review contracts and agreements and research relevant accounting guidance for complex non-routine transactions.
• Key point of contact for foreign subsidiaries and will collaborate to solve operational and financial issues.
• Coordination of consolidated and statutory audits.
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums for significant transactions.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards across functional teams within the company where applicable.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly management reporting, as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of the Company’s SEC filings, including 10Q's, 10K's, 8K's and other financial reporting, as needed.
• Assist in the monthly close and consolidation process, as needed.
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA certification required
Minimum Experience:
• 6+ years of relevant work experience; Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Power Point)
