Duties: Turner Classic Movies is your go-to place for finding classic movies you've always loved, or want to explore for the first time. A veritable classic film university, TCM will educate, entertain and inspire cinephiles of all ages. TCM will re-open your eyes to the Golden Age of filmmaking. We want to work with our intern to identify what they enjoy, what gets them excited and what they excel in, to help them begin to define a career path in the industry! TCM is looking for an intern to assist the digital team with web & mobile product QA, content management, and data mining. Interest in film, especially classic movies, is a plus. This is an internship position designed for a person that has exposure to digital marketing who would like to gain industry experience and explore various paths in this ever evolving industry. The intern will gain analytical experience working with excel, and will also gain technical knowledge working with apps and a content management system. Interns will be exposed to operational aspects such as website development, ecommerce and digital marketing. Qualifications: Interns should have an interest in film but interest in classic movies is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills required. Please Note: S pring 2016 inTURNERship Program dates are January 25th - April 1st. Interns are paid at minimum-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is limited to college level rising juniors, seniors and graduate students who are currently enrolled in school. A strong academic record, 3.0 or higher, is preferred.
