Location: Manchester - Salford Quays
Salary:circa £24,000 - £26,000

As part of the Core Talent Acquisition team, this role will be based in Manchester and responsible for delivering recruitment activities to the Company UK business with a focus on the Company Apprenticeship Scheme. Apprenticeships are key to our business growth and you will be responsible for hiring anyone entering our organisation on an Apprenticeship programme.
This role and will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, Company UK
Main purpose/objectives of role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter)– will be part of a team that delivers against the Company UK business’s hiring plan. By working closely with hiring managers and HR, you will fulfill requisitions predominantly by directly sourcing candidates.
Main activities/responsibilities:
• Work with the UK business and HR to understand hiring needs and requirements.
• Continue to enhance any recruitment activity for the Company Apprenticeship programme.
• Guide managers through the recruitment process.
• Ensure effective use of recruitment tools, and adhere to processes and systems that feed in to the Global TA function.
• Maintain data, and report on all hiring activity and metrics through Oracle Business Intelligence.
• Act as an internal and external face of the TA team to the Company UK business.
• Implement and execute hiring strategies for all requisitions across the Company UK business.
• Deliver sourcing methodology to access the best candidates in the market including utilising social media and training providers.
• Market roles internally and externally including via social media and other direct sourcing channels.
• Sift resumes, and select suitable candidates via telephone screens.
• Facilitate discussions with hiring managers to select candidates to progress to interview.
• Successfully put candidates through the relevant diagnostic assessment tests such as BKSB to determine their level of English and Maths.
• Manage full cycle recruiting process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
• Drive the offer process, including extending offers, closing candidates and overseeing the generation of offer letters via PPS.
• Work to ensure an excellent candidate experience, and guide managers to ensure they follow process and best practice at all times
Qualifications
Experience and attributes required:
• Experience of successfully recruiting and direct sourcing for roles at varying levels, from entry level through to management positions.
• Preferable experience of recruiting Apprentices and the terminology around apprentice recruitment.
• Demonstrable experience of selecting, building and coordinating the correct type of selection technique i.e. Assessment Centre or Interview.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
• Excellent level of English, both written and verbal.
• A relationship builder, who can deliver by working with & through others.
• Experience of partnering with hiring managers, interviewers and team members throughout the process.
• Ability to collaborate across the Company TA organisation.
• A working knowledge of Taleo.
• Ability to speak to Company’s business and articulate the value proposition to internal and external audiences.
