This position functions as a member of the Corporate IT Operations team and reports to the Manager of Enterprise Applications. The Systems Support Administrator – Oracle Cloud HCM, is responsible for working with functional business partners in the support of the Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management system.
The Systems Support Engineer will investigate and remediate any incidents within the Oracle Cloud HCM Module (HR, ESS/MSS, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, Absence Management, and Time and Labor), by conducting Root Cause Analysis and working with the functional and Oracle support teams. This role will work with the development and release management team to migrate approved changes into production and perform systems validation.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Provide functional and technical consulting services by acting as subject matter expert on Oracle Cloud HCM support cases
• Configure the Oracle Cloud Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
• Responsible for daily Oracle Cloud support for HCM (HR, ESS/MSS, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, Absence Management, and Time and Labor)
• Responsible for understanding effects of requested changes up and down stream within Oracle Cloud HCM Applications
• Answer, review, and respond to issues from the customer to provide expedient and accurate issue resolution
• Collaborate with Test, Development, Infrastructure, Security and Release Management teams and others to resolve system issues
• Ensure all tickets are acted on promptly, effectively and closed out promptly
• Ability to recommend solution based on “Best Practice” recommendations from Oracle
Professional Qualifications
Required Skills:
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of Techno-functional experience in Oracle ERP
• 5+ years of experience configuring/supporting Oracle HCM Modules (HR, ESS/MSS, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, Absence Management, and Time and Labor)
• Intermediate level knowledge of SQL on an Oracle Database environment.
Preferred Skills:
• At least one full-cycle ERP implementation
• Implementation skills plus experience with the application implementation life cycle, including: requirement analysis, fit/gap analysis, application configuration, functional/technical specifications, integration, product enhancement and support
• Hands on experience with supporting ERP daily and troubleshooting issues related to daily processing
• Understanding and some experience with QA and development methodologies
