The Technology department is a key area within Company and is divided into three sub sections namely Enterprise, Digital and Delivery.
Enterprise
The Enterprise Technology function exists to provide expertise to run, maintain and build our internal applications and systems; as well as to provide IT services to assist and support Company staff in undertaking their roles
Digital
Digital is responsible for the creation and delivery of consumer products on the web, tablet, mobile and other online products using our brands. We work with customers to understand and help shape their requirements determining a roadmap for our the products, then ensure these are requirements are effectively designed, developed and delivered
Delivery
The Delivery group is responsible for defining, designing, building, managing and governing the delivery of key transformation programmes and projects across Company. It enables and supports business transformation activities as well as technology based initiatives.
The Role
You are responsible for the delivery and support of the Endpoint Computing track, ensuring the service design, initiation, transition, on-going support and operation meets the business requirements. You will provide solutions to technical issues, and be responsible for ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and business requirements. In addition, you will work in a team that thrives on innovation and excellence, providing smart solutions and services, providing increased value to the business.
Responsibilities:
• Estimate costs for an investment or service
• Manage day to day tasks to achieve a desired outcome
• Own, plan and execute the delivery of a project, product or service
• Influence the timescales of delivery
• Effectively manage suppliers
• Define the strategy in your track
• Execute a process that solves a problem
• Collect, organise and effectively report information
• Suggest improvements to service provision to achieve maximum efficiency within agreed service target
• Operate at a highly competent level within the domain
• Successfully influence your immediate peers and line management
• Be open to feedback and respond accordingly
• Make informed decisions that enable the achievement of the plan/strategy
• Communicate and engage with others in large groups
• Establish key relationships across groups to launch initiatives and achieve results
• Understand and meet customer needs with a can do attitude, whilst managing expectations
• Proactively communicate to stakeholders who have a reliance on work done.
Skills & Experience
• Delivery of ConfigMgr solutions to a high standard to over 5000 clients
• Scoping consulting engagements and preparing Statements of Work
• Work with the other teams to assist with specification of solutions, technical input around ConfigMgr, testing and writing papers on implementation best practice and optimization
• Assisting the Practice Lead on development of best practice and processes
Learning to design and implement the software solutions
• Experience of migrating SCCM 2012 R2 to SCCM Current Branch
• Deploying and Managing Windows 10 through SCCM Current Branch
• You will have deep technical knowledge of ConfigMgr.
• Knowledge of OSD, MDT,
• Application Packaging and Deployment,
• Patching of Both Servers and Workstations,
• System Centre Endpoint Protection Configuration and Monitoring.
• Reporting
• SCCM Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Windows Client (Win7x/Win8x/Win10)
• Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection
• Windows Infrastructure - KMS (licensing)
• Windows OS and some scripting skills.
• Experience working on SQL
• The ability to capture user requirements and translate these to a solution design
