Job Title
Sys Admin-Enterprise Apps Specialist
The Windows Systems Administrator oversees the design, implementation, startup, shutdown, backup, restore, security, maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, patching, capacity planning, and maintenance of accurate documentation and diagrams of the complex integrated computing infrastructure utilized by Company Corporation.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Windows operating systems and virtual server operating environments. This position provides excellent customer support and consulting on a wide range of highly technical issues with minimal assistance. The Systems Administrator works in a team environment and provides or requests teammate assistance as necessary. This position contributes technical analysis skills and occasionally leads systems integration projects and infrastructure support.
This position supports all Enterprise Applications, keeping up with industry best practices, advances in technology, and applications. This includes maintaining and enhancing Company Corporation’s dynamic Enterprise Application infrastructure in multiple locations, including but not limited to Company Corporation’s remote sites.

• Ability to provide 24x7 support.
• Supports, resolves, monitors and troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
• Evaluates and installs new software releases, system upgrades, and patches.
• Maintains, monitors, analyzes system components and makes recommendations regarding system and application health.
• Applies security concepts and tools to protect systems, reduce risks, and address vulnerabilities.
• Works with a team to automate management tasks, streamline processes, and perform standard administrative functions as needed.
• Maximizes system availability and performance through fault-tolerant configuration, efficient architecture and proactive server monitoring.
• Plans and performs procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other tasks related to IT.
• Performs inventory and provides accounting for Company Corporation’s systems including installed software and server operating systems.

• Leads systems integration projects delivering on time, cost effective solutions that meet specifications.
• Performs and coordinates effective installations of servers (physical and virtual) and operating systems.
• Conducts software and hardware evaluations, provides technical analysis and implements systems
• Develops a strategic IT plan to meet the requirements of Company Corporation’s overall growth plan to be reviewed on a regular basis with Management and adjusted as necessary.
• Undertakes and manages the research and improvement of Company Corporation’s Systems.

• Provides customer training and support on high level technical problems without assistance.
• Plays a lead role in developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
• Maintains professionalism, good attitude, and appropriate behavior with all Company Corporation personnel and clients.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows systems integration and management in the corporate environment. Must be experienced with and able to perform all system administration functions for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Expert level proficiency in: Active Directory, remote access technologies, SharePoint, IIS, SQL Server, and web technologies and concepts.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, routing, switching and other related networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise directory concepts.
• Thorough knowledge of server and system administration best practices.
• Strong knowledge of client/server architecture.
• Development of IT Policies and Procedures.
• Development of VISIO diagrams.
• Self-starter that requires minimal supervision.
