Job Description:
The SVP, Global Corporate Sales is responsible for managing and developing all corporate sales revenue in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The role is accountable and responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve sales and revenue objectives, increasingly working strategically across the full Company portfolio.
This position will be responsible for delivering an integrated approach to account and relationship management to implement both an a la carte and suite of offerings to large scale corporate clients (including key sectors such as professional services, consulting, public relations, marketing, compliance, financial service, private equity, venture capital, investment concerns and wealth advisors).
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and dynamic hands-on executive who relishes a fast-paced environment and responds with flexibility and resilience in demanding performance situations.
Responsibilities:
• Continue to develop and grow a market defining commercial strategy: Adept at nimbly working across cultures and backgrounds, he/she will have to rapidly communicate the purpose and importance of goals and persistently monitor teams to accelerate meaningful sales.
• Deftly create alignment, optimize product growth, regional performance and support corporate goals. He/she must be able to bravely deliver and inspire great service to all corporate customers with the appropriate organizational sensitivity and commercial awareness.
• Energize and foster a strong, performance based sales culture: Today’s diverse sales force has executed against a range of strategies. The leader will quickly establish themselves as vigorous role model of leadership to establish a highly motivated and high-performing team environment.
• Relish enthusiastically coaching staff to improve skills, strengthen performance and briskly make difficult decisions while also implementing enduring and lasting performance.
• Enhance and create world class client relationships: Given the diversity in client experiences, the candidate must have an agile and nimble adaptable communication style which morphs to the audience, while maintaining a warm, professional and credible demeanor.
• Responsible for owning problems and cleverly coordinating internal resources to help solve past, current and future issues with haste.
Skills & Experience:
• “Make it happen and roll-up your sleeves” approach to sales leadership and “landing big deals”
• Track record of re-establishing and building bridges to former, current and new institutional clients
• Passion, appreciation and expertise in driving rapid salesforce transformations
• Has developed swift and energetic high morale sales force with a spirited urgency to achieve goals
• Deep network, experience and understanding of the B2B information and/or technology industries, distribution channels, product positioning and institutional clients
• Expertise in emerging technologies in content management, collaboration and news dissemination
• Personal characteristic include nimbleness, agility and a passion to win despite the odds
