DESCRIPTION:
This position will manage the day-to-day trafficking of broadcast promotions for on-air linear, Showtime Streaming Services, on demand and digital distribution. They will also assist in working with outside companies and internal departments to obtain and distribute scripts and footage for series, theatricals and documentaries.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day opening of jobs, tracking, execution and delivery of all on-air linear, Showtime Streaming Services, Showtime on Demand and digital services broadcast jobs
• Act as point person/liaison between Creative, Production, Marketing Services, Partner Depts, Red Post, R&C etc. on all Video projects
• Provide status updates for all departments on associated projects and keep redBase updated with most recent information.
• Provide support for creative on versioning info, length restraints, sanitization standards, and any other questions relating to content of the promotion.
• Open Promotions in Redbase or Accept Promotion Requests from IBMS
• Work with Creative and Production management to obtain assignments for the work and document said assignments.
• Provide team with all necessary versioning info, job specs, delivery, creative, legal instructions and examples, if necessary.
• Open Asset requests sent by the Social and marketing services
• Update redBase with any changes made by partner or creative, and assure proper personnel are notified.
• Work with Interstitial, Marketing Services, Creative and Production to develop a schedule for the completion of the work and document said schedule
• Provide departments with relevant footage status updates.
• Ensure schedules are adhered to by all groups and communicate to all when there are schedule issues
• Obtain and document all specific Promotion information into RedBase system
• Work with Creative, Line Producers and Red Post to ensure timely POs are issued and sessions are accounted for
• Work with R&C to ensure clearances are obtained and documented/communicated, and that feedback is addressed.
• Prepare weekly status reports for departmental meetings
• Coordinate delivery of POC promo creation and delivery to Showtime LA Production.
• Assist with TCA and other company meetings/executive presentations in tracking progress and delivery of assets.
• Repurpose on-air promos for online use.
• Supervise the versioning of promos to adhere to proper sanitization standards and online messaging and address any nudity/sex issues with creative.
• Deliver promotions to digital services with all necessary metadata information.
• Assist in obtaining materials from Showtime original series production companies and Showtime Documentaries and Theatricals, either through distributors or internal Showtime departments.
• Obtain scripts for Showtime scripted series and distribute to creative services department.
• Manage receipt of all versions of episodes per series and distribution to proper personnel, including producer/network cuts, early onlines, promo masters, and final deliveries.
• Communicate with Showtime LA Production, show producers and post production coordinator/supervisors to track status of episodes, ask questions on behalf of Creative Services, request video & audio selects. May need to route links to production for their approval, and field questions from production to Showtime based on creative and scheduling of promotions.
• Coordinate dailies request process with production company; requesting scenes, discussing costs, providing technical specs, and following up on status and delivery.
• Provide footage and support in production of promos produced out of house.
• Coordinate delivery of materials (films, audio splits, trailers, epks) for Sho Docs, Sho Comedy Club and Theatricals via operations and media asset management.
• Manage Move Inbox inventory and field requests from all departments for their material needs.
• Manage any one-off asset requests from various departments.
• Support Director, Rights & Clearances Administration with ad-hoc projects
• RedBase fixes, feature requests and data entry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3 years of experience with a similar role
• Solid knowledge of the media planning process including a basic understand of all mediums (TV, Digital, Streaming)
• Strong, clear communication and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Accuracy/detail oriented
• Ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines
• Resourcefulness
• Able to function independently
• Proactive
• A passion and enthusiasm/interest in the entertainment space
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
