We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Planningto join HX, the Horizon Programmatic Media Department. This role drives improvement of client digital business via ad-exchange media buying (including by not limited to banner, video, paid social and mobile), optimized to client DR and Brand goals. In this role you will own account management, strategic proposals and sales support across a portfolio of high-profile accounts.
Main Responsibilities: |
I. Account Management
Develop and present of strong and effective media plans based on established RTB and premium-programmatic strategies, as well as on custom research and test-and-learn processes Represent the Horizon Trading Desk's capabilities and advantages at client planning sessions and biz-dev meetings Support business cases for current Horizon clients considering trading desk tests or new/increased investments Manage junior account managers, delegating tasks and supporting process improvements as HX grows
II. Own Relationships with Media Planners
Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers on the digital planning team Work with creative and technology partners to ensure optimal ad development and harmony between media and creative strategies Deliver feedback to inform projects to improve delivery of HX services, from pitch to wrap-up – the success of which is measured by internal customer surveys
III. Support HX Sales Operations
Act as a liaison to Horizon finance, contributing to forecasting and monthly reconciliation Create sales planning, case-study and marketing materials
Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ previous digital media experience, including 2+ years in programmatic
• Proven ability to thrive in a highly-collaborative, fast-paced work environment
• Proven ability to facilitate client adoption of new technologies and ways of doing business
• Advanced user of data-driven software, including Excel and at least one ad-buying console or ad server
• Strong interest in digital communications in general and emerging media in particular
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts relevant to optimization, as well as of scientific testing in live media environments
