DESCRIPTION:
The Studio Manager will schedule and manage design and animation projects in the broadcast design studio.
Specifically, you will:
• Schedule and book animators.
• Work with VP to balance day-to-day resource allocation and work-flow in the studio.
• Produce and distribute daily studio schedule.
• Work with VP to anticipate and plan for resource needs.
• Help manage revisions for on-going projects.
• Traffic completion, approval and delivery of jobs from the studio.
• Provide quality control for projects from the studio.
• Track time and cost allocated to studio projects.
• Manage invoicing from studio freelancers.
• Provide media management for the design server.
• Coordinate with IT to manage works stations.
• Coordinate with operations to manage work-flow.
• Coordinate with digital partners on broadcast jobs.
• Plan and produce small design projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with production assistants, writer producers
• and the project management team.
• Research and recruit design and animation talent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Video production knowledge.
• Comprehensive organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Agility on deadline.
• Persistence and follow though.
• Professional communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Premiere.
• 3-5 years of broadcast post-production experience.
