Job Description:
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in investment banking, consultancy and/or within a corporate team to join the Corporate Strategy Group at Company. The candidate will work closely with senior executives to shape the strategic direction of the company and will also be involved with M&A and investment opportunities. He or she will be highly analytical, with strong quantitative/commercial skills and excellent Powerpoint and presentation skills. Experience in the media/information sector and financial modeling experience is desirable but not essential. Masters/MBA is not required.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Strategy Officer of Company who is responsible for the company's corporate strategy as well as M&A and commercial policy. The successful candidate will be required to:
• Use a basic strategy consulting toolkit to think through complex problems in a commercial, structured way
• Work collaboratively across the business and with senior stakeholders to find new opportunities for Company
• Create cohesive, compelling, and fact-based presentations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Create materials for
◦ Executive decision-makers (OCEO process, memos/slides, working group meetings, external stakeholders, CEO/ CFO briefings, etc.)
◦ Project updates
• Support development and program management of M&A and investment opportunities
