Summary
The Strategic Account Representative is a highly motivated, energetic professional who will work hard and be immediately impactful as part of our amazing team. This position manages sales accounts within JOANN’s growing business development team. The person in this role is excited to work to provide the best customer experience possible while strategically defining the ongoing role JOANN has with our business and organizational partners. Scope
◦ Target and cultivates relationships to grow key accounts commercially. Thinks creatively about JOANN’s value proposition to the client.
◦ Works cross-functionally to implement complex projects in a timely manner, which may include in-store activations, digital touch points, etc. Inspires the creativity in others, manages hurdles and delivers a quality product while meeting the customer’s expectations.
◦ Creates and provides solutions related to new products/services development for large clients. Formulates product recommendations based on customer needs. Advises and manages all businesses/organizations order information and takes care of all customer needs. Handles high complex issues and problems, only refers the most complex issues to higher management.
◦ Maintains an authoritative knowledge of marketing success factors, trends and best practices. Identifies new areas of opportunities beyond current organizational thinking. Other responsibilities as necessary based on the partnership or account.
Education Requirements
◦ Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience
◦ Minimum: 2 years of experience in managing key accounts and customer service.
◦ Preferred: Past experience interfacing with large companies a plus (Director and above). Prefer retail experience. CRM experience strongly preferred.
Other Skills
◦ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

◦ Preference given to candidates with a demonstrated track record of achieving difficult goals and taking initiative in an unstructured environment.
