Overview
Company. is currently seeking a Sr. Technical Application Support Analyst for eCommerce in Parsippany, NJ. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and participate in the configuration, monitoring, and optimization of eCommerce systems for Company website and related web-based user applications within Company.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Technical Application Support Analyst will provide intermediate level configuration and support of eCommerce applications in all environments while collaborating with business units and IT cross functional support teams on options for remediation. S/He will coordinate and participate in the discovery, installation, and ongoing maintenance of all 3rd party applications that interface with the eCommerce systems. The Sr. Analyst will serve as primary interface between eCommerce functional team and other IT teams or 3rd party vendors while documenting all systems configurations will be required.
Sr. Technical Application Support Analyst will participate in the deployment process, providing intermediate web configuration changes and other customizations required to support business requirements. S/He will prepare and deliver technical design walk-through with other IT teams interfacing with eCommerce applications while ensuring optimum application set-up. Additionally, this position will coordinate the planning and delivery of all new application implementations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Management
• A minimum to 3 to 5 years equivalent job related experience with relevant technology
• Familiar with website tagging for URL/campaigns
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft IIS, .NET and SQL, JAVA script, Oracle Endeca Search Engine, Apache Tomcat, networking technologies including DNS, Load Balancing, Akamai CDN, URL redirects, ADOBE DTM TAG management for website tracking, Windows 2008/2012 OS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET foundation web applications is desirable
• Understanding of SDLC principles
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to respond to outages or participate in scheduled deployments during non-traditional work hours to support business needs
