Company is seeking a SR Principal-Finance Analyst to support the World Wide Field Operations division.
The Worldwide Field Operations Global FP&A team is responsible for developing the global bookings and spend plans and forecasts, monitoring KPIs and coordinating global reporting, and partnering with Worldwide Field Operations leaders to provide support and actionable insights. This includes soliciting inputs from the geo sales FP&A teams to consolidate global reporting; modeling quarterly and annual bookings by geo and product; analyzing quarterly results and providing insights to senior management and the Board; assessing historical trends to estimate future quarters’ results. The team also provides strategic insights to help with product portfolio decisions, channel optimization, and implications of business model changes.
The right candidate will be a team player with excellent cross-functional leadership skills.
Responsibilities may include:
•Fiscal planning and forecasting for consolidated worldwide bookings and/or opex
•Direct opex support of individual business groups within Worldwide Field Operations
•Monitoring of key performance indicators and ensure integrity and accuracy in monthly financial reporting
•Design and development of reporting solutions for internal business users
•Ad hoc analysis and management reporting
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree required
•5-10 years of experience in a sales FP&A role or similar function with an emphasis on modeling/aggregating data to produce insights
•Outstanding analytical skills complemented with a strategic mindset
•Extremely driven individual looking to expand their skillsets and role
•Good understanding of fundamental finance and accounting concepts
•Ability to partner well, both within the internal team and other functions
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Prefer working knowledge of Oracle R12 and Hyperion applications (but not required)
•Must be able to work in Mountain View, CA
•Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
