We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, HR Team Advisor to join Company! Working closely with your assigned colleagues, you will align the People team’s strategy with Snap’s business to help us achieve strategic and operational objectives. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll work with colleagues across the company to deliver amazing experiences for our employees.
What You’ll Do:
• Influence initiatives that support our short and long-term business goals, as well as attract, develop, and retain employees
• Provide insight and analysis on the People team’s various measures
• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met, focusing on organizational design in a rapidly growing organization
• Drive and participate in executing the People team’s various initiatives
• Lead and develop a team of HR Team Advisors
• Model and reinforce our cultural values of being kind, smart, and creative
• Recommend, develop, and implement performance, development, and succession planning processes
• Provide counsel and guidance on people management and development
• Function as an executive coach to key clients and leaders
Provide insights to the Learning & Development team related to training and development programs that meet the goals and objectives of both the broader team and our employees
• Ensure HR policies are relevant, communicated, followed, and in-line with local requirements
• Establish tools to enable effective working relationships with and between managers and employees
• Handle investigations when necessary
Remain up-to-date on local employment legislation and compliance
• Partner with Comp & Benefits to ensure equitable pay for performance is in place, including relevant pay structures for the unique needs of each team
What we're looking for:
• Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 5+ years experience in an HR Business Partner role with proven successes in performance management, organizational design, recruitment, immigration, employee relations / coaching, compensation, benefits, and employee communications
• Experience leading HR professionals for a minimum of 2 years
• HR Experience with both US (multi-state) and international businesses
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to influence and communicate to all levels of the organization, and good intuition
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Docs
• Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• A detail oriented individual with strong problem solving and decision making skills
